Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred to Arusha. Distance: ~50 km. Driving Time: Approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, check in at Venus Premier Hotel (or similar). Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore Arusha town. In the evening, you will receive a detailed safari briefing to prepare you for the journey ahead. Overnight: Venus Premier Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Distance (Arusha to Serengeti – Central): ~325 km. Driving Time: 7–8 hours (including stops). Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Highlands, with optional stops for photos and short breaks. As you enter Serengeti National Park via Naabi Hill Gate, the landscape opens into vast plains known for abundant wildlife. You will begin your first game drive en route to camp, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly cheetahs. Arrive at camp in the late afternoon. Overnight: Tukaone Serengeti Camps (Full Board)

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Game Drive Coverage: Varies (approximately 50–100 km within the park). Your guide will tailor the day based on wildlife movements, ensuring the best possible sightings. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, including thousands of wildebeest and zebras. Expect to see: Lions, leopards, and cheetahs; Elephants and buffalo; Hyenas, jackals, and various antelope species; Rich birdlife across the plains. You may choose between a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or a morning and afternoon game drive with a midday rest at camp. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the African sky. Overnight: Tukaone Serengeti Camps (Full Board)

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha / Airport

Early breakfast followed by departure from Serengeti with a game drive en route toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Distance (Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim): ~145 km. Driving Time: 3–4 hours. Descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Crater Drive Distance: ~50 km (within crater). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including: The Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard); Hippos, flamingos, hyenas, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro Airport. Distance (Ngorongoro to Arusha): ~190 km. Driving Time: 3.5–4 hours. Distance (Ngorongoro to JRO): ~240 km. Driving Time: 4.5–5 hours. End of Safari
